Our Mission is to Support & Inspire the Next Generation of Artists to Make with their Own Hands, and Think with their Own Intelligence
More than Ever, The World is Trying to Speed Us Up...
The way I see it, technology seems to keep pushing us further and further away from our natural intention.
Nature wants us to slow down, but technological "progress" continues to steer us towards ever-faster, "more productive", yet less fulfilled, lives.
Earth is more strained than ever before, yet in the pursuit of wealth & convenience, we ignore her pleas, and continue pushing the throttle.
Artificial intelligence takes this to a never-before-seen extreme:
for the first time, technology doesn’t just aim to increase human-productivity. It aims to replace it.
Porchdrawn is fighting back the only way we know how:
By producing beautifully imperfect handmade art, and using the support we get to help the next generation of artists continue the tradition of making things with their own hands, mind & soul.
What We're Doing To Make Art More Accessible:
Through Example &
Showing How We Do It
First, we lead by example as best we can. We regularly showcase our art in a variety of different stages (from very rough sketches to completed pieces).
Donations to After-School
Art Programs
We make periodic donations throughout the year to support charities providing after school art programs and resources to kids throughout the country. Our small business just launched, but we plan to share our first impact report in 2027.
Free Online Art Lessons
& Resources
By the end of 2026, we'll release a "Resource" page with free workshops for kids of different ages so they can explore making art at their own pace, from anywhere.
