It All Started on the Porch
The Porch has long been one of my favorite places to be. It's the perfect place to sit, welcome visitors to your home, and take a moment to soak in the fresh air. It's where I prefer to do my thinkin', and where my favorite creative ideas are sparked.
My fiance and I started Porchdrawn in 2026 with a simple idea: Create an outlet for our love of hand lettering, and highlight our design & making process to help inspire the next generation of artists along the way.
When we first started prototyping flags, we had every intention of working with a production partner to make them. However, after many trial orders, meeting with salespeople and searching far and wide, we couldn't find anything that delivered the quality and craftsmanship we would expect if we bought one of our flags.
So, at the end of 2025, we learned how to make 'em ourselves.
After over 100 house-made prototypes and nearly a year of R&D, we finally landed on the recipe that gave us a quality-made flag with a vintage feel that we could still manage to produce affordably.
Every order is made by hand in our Oregon, USA studio by either Danny or Stephanie. Thank you for visiting our porch & learning more about our family business!

What is a Porchdrawn Flag?
Our flags fit into a category all their own.
Part garden flag, part tapestry, part porch sign, we designed Porchdrawn flags to be as versatile as possible.
We use heavyweight, 100% cotton duck cloth canvas, appropriately named for its tight weave, durable construction & natural water resistance. Pair that with rust-proof grommets, non-toxic inks and an extra layer of all-natural water resistance, and you get a flag built to be used just about anywhere. Whether its filling a blank space in your home, porch, garden, or anything in between, rest assured your Porchdrawn flag will look great, and be ready for it.
